We are currently recruiting the following staff:

 

RGN’/RMN

We are recruiting for full or part time Nurses for days or nights full and part time  for our purpose built home in Chadderton Oldham
We operate a superb nursing home and provide excellent support and development for our staff.

  • Be responsible for the well-being of our residents making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met
  • Carrying out assessments; developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each resident
  • Leading and mentoring care staff, delivering clinical guidance and ensuring the smooth running of the care home
  • Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure safety and conformance to relevant standards, policies and legislation

Delivering the very best standards of care, promoting residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect and striving for continuous improvement
Be a part of the team and help care for our residents and work in a lovely, clean and well maintained environment.

In return you will receive help and support to maintain you CPD and your annual NMC payment will be reimbursed. We work alternate weekends and nurse breaks are paid. We pay a competitive salary with enhancements.

Care Assistants.

Saddleworth our Dementia Nursing Unit looks after older residents who live with dementia and require nursing care

We aim to provide our residents with an excellent quality of life while promoting their independence and dignity.

We are looking for people with a special interest in dementia to work in our specialist dementia unit. We are looking for people who care want to help, have a sense of humour and who want to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people.

Can you help people with all the daily activities that we take for granted? If so, this position could be for you.

Experience in the care of dementia patients is an advantage but not a necessity as full training is provided to anyone with a genuine interest in providing dementia care and a willingness to work in this demanding but rewarding role. Full support is given to those who wish to develop their skills and gain qualifications to further their career.

Care Assistants are also required for other units:

Our other units care for residents who require general nursing care, palliative care, residents who require residential dementia care and also younger residents who require nursing care.

Shift pattern are Days  7am – 2pm, 2pm – 9pm. Nights 9pm – 7am. We do also facilitate long day shifts to suit where possible staff and residents.

We work alternate weekends, there is an enhanced rate for night shifts, a quarterly sickness bonus and we provide uniforms and training.

Therapy Assistants.

Cheerful, organised enthusiastic people are required to coordinate activities for all our residents during the day.

Have you ideas, have you hidden talents are you artistic, musically gifted and like people. We want people to stimulate minds and encourage residents to try new activities and help develop a purpose in life.

The job is not easy and the right candidates will need patience, empathy, perseverance and an excellent sense of humour. The activities may be in large or small groups, or 1-1, may be in or outside the home and no day will be the same.
